Stuffed Pepper Soup

Mix¾ cup soup mix, 2½ cup water, and 1 lb. cooked beef, pork, or turkey. Bring to a boil while
stirring. Add l can (14 .5 oz) diced tomatoes. Return to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 15
minutes. Remove from heat, cover and steam for 5 minutes.

Hearty Soup Mix & Harvest Soup Mix

8 cups water, l ½ cups soup mix, l ½ tsp. salt. Simmer for l hour. Add 2 carrots, 2 stalks celery,
2 cups shredded cabbage, l qt. tomatoes, and l lb. cooked ground beef. Simmer 20 additional
minutes.

Ham Flavored Bean Soup with Rivels

Bring 2 ½ c. water to a boil. Add¾ c. soup mix and stir well. Return to a boil. Reduce heat. Add
½ c. diced ham, optional. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, cover
and let steam for five minutes.

Holiday Bean Soup Mix

Wash l lb. beans, place in large kettle. Cover with water 2" above bean line, add 2 Tbsp. salt,
soak overnight. Drain in the morning, add 2 qts. water, 2 ham hocks or pieces of ham. Bring to
a boil, l large onion, l - 16 oz. can tomatoes, l tsp. chili powder, juice of a lemon, and pepper
to taste. Simmer for 3 hours or in crockpot 3 hours on high or 5 hours on low. Remove ham
from hock before serving. Makes 4 qts.

13 & 7 Bean Soup Mix

2 cups 13 Bean Blend, l qt. water, 2 tsp. butter, l tsp. lemon juice, 4 tsp. chicken broth mix, 4
cups diced potatoes, 2 cups diced onions, l ½ cups celery, l cup red and green diced peppers,
l (14 oz.) can y ellow corn, l tsp. garlic salt, l tsp. sage, ½ tsp. black pepper, l qt. milk, l c.
cream, l egg, 3 Tbsp. corn starch, 2 Tbsp. flour, l lb. smoked sausage (cooked).
Soak beans in 6 c. water overnight and drain. Simmer first 5 ingredients for 30 min. Add next
5 ingred. Cook 15 more min. Add garlic salt, sage, black pepper, and milk. Do not boil. Blend
cream, egg, corn starch and flour. Slowly add to soup and heat to thicken. Add sausage and serve.

Instant Chicken Broth or Beef Broth (includes Reduced Sodium)

Add l tsp. instant chicken broth or beef broth to l cup boiling water.

Chicken & Beef Base (no msg added)

2 tablespoon to 2 cups of water, suit to taste.

Old T ime Chicken, Beef, or Peppered Gravy Mix

½ cup mix, 2½ cups water. Mix water and gravy. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil l minute.

Sloppy Joe Mix

Brown l lb. fresh meat, add l cup Sloppy Joe Mix, mix well. Add l cup water, simmer for l O minutes.
