Troyer’s Classic Focaccia Bread Mix
A rustic, olive-oil rich focaccia baked golden in a cast iron skillet or baking pan. Soft and airy inside with a crisp, dimpled crust—perfect for sharing, dipping, or topping with herbs and cheese.
Baking Instructions
You will need: 1 cup warm water, 2 TB olive oil + ¼ cup additional olive oil, 10″–12″ cast iron skillet or 9×12 baking pan.

Pour mix into a large bowl and add yeast packet. Stir well.

Add warm water and 2 TB olive oil; mix until dough comes together.

Turn onto floured surface and knead 8–10 times until smooth and elastic.

Lightly oil a bowl, place dough inside, cover, and let rise 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 450°F.

Coat skillet or pan with olive oil (2–3 TB). Punch down dough and press into pan.

Use fingertips to make indentations. Drizzle remaining olive oil over top.

Bake uncovered 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.

Sprinkle with salt flakes or desired toppings and rest before slicing.
